Special Projects
Each year, students, faculty, and administrators at Meyersdale Area School District develop unique ideas for ways to enhance learning. In the past students and teachers worked together to restore the wetlands that are located across from the district's campus. Also, the Life Skills department worked to develop The Java Wagon, a project that allows learning support students to operate their own bistro-type business. Donors who contribute to this program will help to support similar projects. Funds may also be used support projects such as a distance learning lab that allows students and faculty to interact with other educators via a video-conferencing set-up.
