Educational Improvement Tax Credit
(EITC)
Attention Businesses!
Donate to MAEF and receive a 90% tax credit through the EITC Program!
Because the Meyersdale Area Education Foundation is recognized by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development as an Educational Improvement Organization (EIO), we are able to receive donations through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program!
The EITC program is a state-funded program that allows eligible businesses to receive a 90% tax credit on contributions made to MAEF or other state-approved EIOs. For example, if a business chooses to contribute $10,000 to MAEF through the EITC program, that business can receive a 90% tax credit of $9,000! The credit can then be reinvested into your own business and support the local economy. In addition to the generous tax credit, the business's donation can also be claimed as a deduction on your federal taxes.
